Citi Survey Hints at New Premium Business Credit Card With $600+ Annual Fee

Citi Considering New Premium Business Credit Card With $600+ Annual Fee?

Citi could be working on a new premium business credit card, with an annual fee of $600 or more.

According to Doctor of Credit, Citi recently sent surveys to select business customers asking about their interest in a high-end business credit card.

The survey describes a card with a $600+ annual fee and more than $2,000 in credits and benefits. That would put it in competition with premium business cards from American Express and Chase.

Possible Benefits of Citi’s New Business Card

The survey mentions several potential features, including:

  • Bonus points or miles on travel purchases, with accelerated earning rates.
  • Statement credits for everyday and business purchases.
  • Airline, hotel or rental car elite status, including faster paths to status or automatic status.
  • Airport lounge access for cardholders.
  • Premium travel benefits designed to improve the travel experience.
  • Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credits.

Guru’s Wrap-up

It’s interesting to see Citi exploring the premium business card market, especially with annual fees getting higher across the industry. A card with a $600+ annual fee would need some strong benefits to stand out.

Of course, this is just a survey for now. We’ll have to wait and see whether Citi actually goes ahead with it.
