World of Hyatt has a an interesting Brand Explorer perk. You get 1 free night, at a category 1-4 Hyatt, after you have stayed at 5 unique Hyatt brands. Both paid stays and award stays qualify towards this, so its an easy way to get some free nights. Until now, there was only 13 Hyatt brands so you could get the award twice, but more brands are being added. Miles to Memories reports that you will soon be able to earn three and even four free award nights through the Brand Explorer perk.
World of Hyatt is addign the following four brands to its loyalty program, bringing the total to 17 unique brands:
- Alila
- Destination
- Thompson
- Joie de Vivre
At the same time, they’re offering promotion that earns you points and a free night at the new brands. You can earn 2,000 Bonus Points for your first stay exploring each of these new brands, plus a free night when you try all four. You must spend one night at each of the these brands before 12/31/19. So if you stay at these four brands tou get a free night, and one more brand makes it 5, for another free night. Not bad at all.
