I wrote last month about new offers that were showing up on people’s Chase accounts. These offers bypassed the Chase 5/24 rule. If you weren’t lucky enough to get one of those offers, now there’s a new way to get a bonus if you are over 5/24. This is for the Chase United Explorer card only.

Frequent Miler has reported that there are targeted offers for the United Explorer card in the United app. If you open your app, you should see a banner ad at the top of the home page. It says that you are prequalified. If you see a different ad, then you are not targeted.

Make sure that your offer says prequalified, and also check the APR. It should be a fixed APR, instead of a range. That’s an indication of a prequalified offer that bypasses Chase 5/24. Here’s what it looks like:

Check the United app to see if you are targeted for this new offer for the United Explorer card. If you see a prequalified offer that has a fixed APR, then it means that it will bypass Chase 5/24.
