United Airlines Miles No Longer Expire

United Airlines is doing something good for its loyal customers. Starting today you no longer need to worry about the expiration date of the United miles you have earned. United miles now never expire.

United Airlines Miles No Longer Expire

You can see the announcement of the change on the United website:

Great travel memories never expire, and now, miles don’t either. We’re excited to share that there’s no expiration date on the miles you’ve earned with us.

Previously United Airlines miles expired after 18 months of inactivity, if you did not have a Chase United card. United Airlines joins Delta and JetBlue that already have no expiration date for their miles. American Airlines miles still expire after 18 months of inactivity

Guru’s Wrap-up

We rarely see good news from airline and hotels. If you have a stash of United miles, keep in mind that in November they are set to get rid of award charts.
