Uber One, New Subscription for Uber Rides and Uber Eats

Uber has announced a new subscription for its customers. It’s called Uber One, and it is a membership that, for $10 per month or $100 per year, gives you benefits and discounts on ridesharing and Uber Eats orders. It’s a simpler way for customers to experience all of Uber.

With Uber One, members receive savings and an elevated experience on everyday moments. Uber One offers member-only upgrades such as top-rated drivers on rides, premium support, and the new Uber One promise on eligible deliveries: members get $5 in Uber Cash if the Latest Arrival estimate (shown after an order is placed) is wrong.

The new subscription mean the end for Eats Pas. All Eats Pass members will be automatically upgraded to Uber One at the start of their next billing cycle. For Uber Pass members on the other hand there will be no changes for now. But if they want to join Uber One, they need to cancel Uber Pass and sign up for Uber One.

Uber One membership is $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year and includes the following benefits:

Member pricing guaranteed: 5% off eligible rides and orders on food, grocery, alcohol and more
Priority service: Top-rated drivers on rides, as well as our Uber One Promise on eligible deliveries, which gives you $5 in Uber Cash if our Latest Arrival estimate (shown after an order is placed) is wrong
Unlimited $0 Delivery Fee: $0 Delivery Fees on eligible orders over $15 and grocery orders over $30
Exclusive access to perks: Premium member support, special offers and promotions, and invite-only experiences

Signing Up for Uber One with 50% Discount

To join Uber One, open your Uber or Uber Eats app. Tap on your Account icon in the upper right hand corner, then tap on Uber One. Review the benefits, tap Choose Plan and then select the monthly or annual offering.

If you do so now, you will also get a 50% discount for the first annual subscription. For a limited time from November 17-29, Uber One and all its benefits will be offered at $49.99 for the year.
