Some people are seeing a 20% offer for Sam’s Club purchases in their Uber app. Limit of $20 maximum per transaction.
These offers are called Visa Local Offers. With Visa Local Offers, you get rewarded for spending. Make purchases online or in person at featured stores and restaurants with an eligible Visa card on your Uber account, and you’ll earn Uber Cash. So if you spend $100 at Sam’s Club with this offer for example, you get $20 Uber Cash in your Uber account.
Once you have at least one Visa card as a payment method on your Uber account, join Visa Local Offers in your Uber app.
- 1. Open the Uber app – Tap the sidebar menu on the top left-hand corner, and click ‘Payment’. Scroll down to the ‘Payment Offers’ section and then click ‘Earn Uber Cash with Visa’.
- 2. Enroll in the program – Tap ‘Get Started’, then tap ‘Count Me In’.
- 3. Start earning Uber Cash – Use your enrolled Visa card(s) at featured merchants nearby.
