Staples is offering a free gift when you make a purchase of at least $25. The offer is for online orders at staples.com® or by phone at 1-800-333-3330 only. There’s limited quantities of free items so do this sooner than later. This is the same offer that we saw back in April and back then you could even add multiple free gifts to the same $25 order. But many orders were canceled.

Update: I talked to customer service through online chat. They couldn’t figure out the issue, but said that they could waive the price of the free gift after the order is placed. Just have your items in the cart and then start chat to get your gift for free.

You can choose from a list of free gift that have a value as high as $34.99. Here’s how to get you free gift:

1. Go here and select your free gifts to your cart
2. Continue shopping and add at least $25 worth of eligible products to your cart, pre-tax
3. Full price of gifts will be discounted automatically at checkout

Guru’s Wrap-Up

As mentioned above, for now the free gifts are not being discounted from total when you checkout. Hopefully that will change. This will work best if you have any purchases planned at Staples, but if you have your eyes on any of these gifts, you could also look for something worth $25 that you could use.
