Spirit Airlines Sale
Low cost carrier Spirit Airlines has another fare sale today. This is a good opportunity to book cheap flights for travel through September. Use Promo Code “80PCT” to save 80% on your next flight. The discount applies only to the base fare, so this Spirit Airlines sale won’t really result in 80% off the total price, but it should still give you decent savings.
To take advantage of the sale, you must book by 11:59 PM EST on June 29, 2020, for travel between 6/16/20-7/1/20 (No Fri/Sun) and 7/7/20-9/30/20 (Tues/Wed Only). There are some blackout dates and many excluded routes, so check the promotion page for more details.
Please note that coupon only applies to round-trip itineraries and the flight portion of a vacation package. It does not apply to the Passenger Usage Charge (up to $22.99 per segment), Regulatory Compliance Charge (up to $7.00 per segment) or the Fuel Charge (up to $12.00 per segment) which are included in the ‘Base Fare’.
You can check out waiver rules for all airlines here.

Guru’s Wrap-Up
Another good Spirit Airlines sale, but the actual discount will be much less on the total price. This discount will give you better prices on longer flights that cost more, since the base fare will make up more of the total price. Just be aware of their fees. As is the case with most budget airlines, you’ll have to pay for many things that you would expect for free on other airlines. Pitch is a bit tight on Spirit but in some cases even buying a cheap flight with this deal plus a Big Front Seat will be cheaper than a standard economy ticket on other airlines.
Worth a look if you have any travel plans. Just make sure to book today or tomorrow to take advantage of this sale. Let me know if you book anything. Use a Amex Platinum Card (5x on airfare), Citi Prestige (5x on airfare), Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on travel), or any of the best credit cards for travel purchases.
