Increased Public Offers for Southwest Credit Cards
Chase recently increased the signup offers for the three personal Southwest credit cards. The increase until now was for referral links only. Now the public offers are also up. Personal cards are at 75,000 points each and business cards have bonuses for 70,000 and 60,000 points. This is still a good time to go for the Southwest Companion Pass, and these bonuses are a big help. You can see all the bonuses here, and check out more details below.

Applying for Southwest Cards
Keep in mind that all Chase cards are subject to the 5/24 rule. So if you have more than 5 new cards within the last 24 months you will not qualify for a bonus.
For personal cards, you do not qualify for a bonus if you have any personal Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card, or received a new Cardmember bonus from these cards within the last 24 months. So it applies to the whole family of Southwest cards. For business cards you must not have the specific card active or have received a bonus on that exact card within the last 24 months.
While the offers are now public, it could still be a better idea to apply through referral links if you have a friend of family member who can refer you. They will receive a referral bonus as well.

These are great offers for Southwest cards. What makes these offers better than usual is the timing for getting the Southwest Companion Pass, which now requires 125,000 points and it’s good for the year you earn it and the following year. If you recently applied for a lesser offer, don’t forget to send a message to Chase and ask them to match you to this offer. They often match you if you have applied within the last 3 months.
But keep in mind that these cards fall within the Chase 5/24 rule, so not everyone will be eligible. If you are under 5/24 then these bonuses are as good as it gets.
