Singapore KrisFlyer Devaluation for Star Alliance Awards

The Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer program is devaluing its miles once again, this time for awards on Star Alliance partners. Earlier this year, redemptions for travel on Singapore Airlines and SilkAir were increased. So it’s not a huge surprise that we’re seeing the same thing for Star Alliance partners awards.

Singapore KrisFlyer will be adjusting their Star Alliance award chart to show new redemption level on April 16, 2019. You have some time to take advantage of current rates. Here’s what the chart looks like right now:

One Mile at a Time reports that Economy awards are not changing in price, while Business and First class awards are increasing by 5-15%. Business awards within North America are going from 20K to 23K and from mainland to Hawaii from 30K to 34.5K.
