Seats.aero Chrome Extension Shows Award Prices in Google Flights
Seats.aero has introduced a Chrome extension that displays award flight pricing directly within Google Flights, allowing travelers to compare cash fares and award redemption options without switching between multiple websites.
Once installed, the extension automatically shows the lowest available award price alongside Google Flights search results. Hovering over the price reveals additional details, including alternative loyalty programs, taxes and fees, cabin availability, and when the award pricing was last seen. Clicking on the award price opens more booking details through Seats.aero.
The extension also lets users filter results by supported airline loyalty programs, transferable points currencies, maximum points price, and maximum taxes and fees (for Pro members). Free users can search direct flights within the next 60 days using cached award data, while Seats.aero Pro subscribers gain access to live searches, flights beyond 60 days, connecting itineraries, and expanded award availability.
One important thing to remember is that award availability shown by the extension may not always be real time. Before transferring any transferable points, you should always verify that the award is still available directly with the airline or loyalty program.
