A nice discount. If you’re in the first year of card membership, all cashback is doubled, so the offer gets twice as good. I received the offer by email, and it looks like it is targeted to those who have received it directly.

As a reminder, right now, during the second quarter of this year, you can earn 5% Cashback Bonus Gas Stations, Uber and Lyft with your Discover card.
