Guru’s Wrap-Up
A nice discount but only available online when you use your Discover it credit card. If you’re in your first year of membership, all cashback is doubled, so the offer gets twice as good. You can also go through Mr.Rebatesfor another 6% in cashback. I received the offer by email, and it does say in the terms that it is non-transferable, so there’s a chance that it is targeted.
As a reminder, right now you earn 5% at grocery stores during the second quarter, until June 31st. During the third quarter of this year you can earn 5% Cashback Bonus at Restaurants from July 1 – September 30, 2018, on up to $1,500 in purchases.
If you don’t have the Discover It card, you can sign up and get a $50 bonus, and double cashback for the first year of card membership. All cash back is doubled, even the 5% quarter bonuses, so that actually makes it 10% at eligible categories for a year.
