Sam’s Club to Raise Membership Fees, Sign Up Now for Free
Sam’s Club memberships are about to get more expensive soon. Walmart said it would increase the annual fees for both tiers of its Sam’s Club memberships. The new annual fees are set to take effect October 17.
Sam’s Club membership fees will go up to $50 from $45 for Club members, and up to $110 from $100 for Plus members. This is the first fee increase in nine years for the entry-level membership. The Plus membership fee has been the same since it was first launched in 1999.
If you need a Sam’s Club membership, this is a good time to sign up. You can actually get a full year for free if you sign up here. You pay the current price of $45 for the Club membership, and you get a $45 discount on your first purchase. Offer ends Oct 16, 2022.
Sam’s Club currently has the cheapest membership prices when compared to Costco and BJ’s, and it will continue to be the cheaper option even after the price hike. Costco charges $60 for its Gold Star and Business memberships, and $120 for the Gold Star Executive and Business Executive plans. BJ's charges $55 for the Inner Circle membership and $110 for Perks Rewards.
