Via, a ride sharing app, has now expanded to all of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Previously they only covered Manhattan up to 125th Street, three area airports, and certain neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens. Starting today, Wednesday, November 8 at 6am, you can Via across all of Manhattan and Brooklyn! Plus, for a limited time, rides to/from the newest Via ‘hoods are 20% off!
Via is also available in Chicago and Washington DC.

Guru’s Wrap-Up
It’s great to see Via expand across all of Brooklyn and Manhattan and hopefully soon they’ll cover all of NYC. They still have a very limited coverage area in general though, since they’re present in only three cities. Maybe we’ll see them in more cities soon. They offer cheaper travel options compared to Uber and Lyft.
