Plenti has announced its Local Dining program where you can earn Plenti points by dining at participating restaurants. Now you can earn 3 Plenti points for every $1 you spend at over 11,000 dining establishments and bars nationwide.
Right now you also earn an additional 200 Plenti points when you make your first eligible Plenti Local Dining purchase. This offer expires on 7/31/16.
Here’s how you can earn points:
- Link your credit and/or debit card to Plenti Local Dining
- Dine and pay with your linked credit or debit card at any participating location
- Earn 3 points for every $1 of your total bill – tax and tip included
This is a nice and easy way to earn some extra Plenti points if you were to dine anyway at one of the participating restaurants. The selection seems pretty decent at least around me. These would be points earned on top of your regular points/miles/cash back that you earn from your credit card, so why not! The Plenti program is becoming more enticing everyday after a slow start.
Please note that some restaurants and bars offer rewards only on certain days of the week or up to a maximum spending amount per month; see the listing of the respective restaurant or bar at localdining.plenti.com/Merchants/Search for details.
As Steve points out in the comments, Plenti Local Dining is powered by Rewards Network, the same network used by similar programs by airlines. So you won’t be able to double dip.

“Powered by Rewards Network” – Same one used by airlines (ex. United Mileage Dining). So if you’re doing that you can’t do this.
