Low-Cost Airline PLAY Offers U.S.–Europe Flights for $109
We have seen several new low-cost carriers recently enter the domestic market such as Avelo, Breeze Airways, and Aha!. But now there’s yet another newcomer in the market, offering flights to Europe instead. It’s the Icelandic airline PLAY that was founded in 2019 and has a small network in Europe already.
Now the carrier launched in the U.S. market on December 16 with flights from Boston Logan International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport to 22 European destinations. You can already book these flights, which will start in spring 2022. The flights, connect through Iceland and go to popular Europe hubs like Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, London. There are also smaller destinations such as Alicante, Malaga and Tenerife in Spain, Trondheim in Norway and Bologna, Italy.

To celebrate the launch in the United States, PLAY is offering flights for as low as $109 to 11 destination across Europe from Boston (BOS) and Baltimore/Washington, D.C. (BWI).
