PLAY Launches US Flights, 25% Off Many European Destinations

PLAY, a low-cost Icelandic air carrier, is launching service from the US today. There’s also a sale to celebrate the occasion, which will make your trips to Europe 25% cheaper.

The first U.S. flight, on Wednesday, April 20, will take off from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport bound for Iceland. Passengers will either stay in Iceland or continue traveling on a connecting flight to one of the 22 European destinations.

After today’s debut, PLAY will launch flights from Boston on May 11th, and from New York’s Stewart International Airport on June 9. After that, Play will launch Orlando flights starting on Oct. 1.

Passengers can save 25% when they fly PLAY Airlines to cities across Europe, including Iceland (KEF), Berlin (BER), Brussels (BRU), Copenhagen (CPH), Dublin (DUB), Gothenburg (GOT), London (STN), Paris (CDG), Stavanger (SVG),Trondheim (TRD) and Liverpool (LPL). The advertised discount is per person, per one-way flight when booking round-trip flights.

Passengers get one personal item and need to pay extra for meals, checked bags, extra legroom, and other add-ons.
