Amazon is planning a Whole Foods expansion in the US. The goal is to put more customers within the range of Amazon’s two-hour Prime Now delivery service. It should add more value for people who have Prime, but no access to Whole Foods stores as of now. Read more here.
Here are all the guns confiscated by TSA at airports
In 2017, TSA agents intercepted 3,957 firearms at 239 airports across the country, averaging 76.1 guns per week, or 10.8 per day. Of those, 3,324 (84%) were loaded, and 1,378 (34.8%) had a round chambered. ATL took the crown in 2017. We have to wait for numbers to crunched to see who will take home the 2018 trophy. TSA to deploy more floppy-ear dogs because they’re less scary than pointy-ear dogs
The Transportation Security Administration is deploying more floppy-ear dogs, rather than pointy-ear dogs, to sniff out explosives in public areas. The reason? Floppy-ear dogs are better received from teh public and don’t scare children. Time for pointy-ear dogs to look for a new line of work. Read more here.
AMC’s MoviePass rival ends 2018 with more than 600,000 subscribers
AMC reports that Stubs A-List has over 600,000 subscribers as of the end of the year, or six months after its June debut. It only expected to have 500,000 members within a full year, so they are doing pretty good so far based on their expectations. Read more here.
