Bank of America Business Checking Bonus
Bank of America has a new Business Advantage Banking bonus worth up to $2,500 for new business checking customers. The offer is available nationwide and does not require direct deposit.
You can earn anywhere from $400 to $2,500, depending on how much new money you deposit and maintain. The main public offer currently runs through November 30, 2026.
How to Earn This Bonus
Open a new Business Advantage Fundamentals Banking or Business Advantage Relationship Banking account through the offer page by November 30, 2026. The offer code is automatically applied when opening online.
Then deposit new money within 30 days of account opening. Your bonus tier is determined by the total amount of qualifying new money deposited during that period:
- $400 bonus with $5,000 in new money
- $700 bonus with $15,000 in new money
- $1,000 bonus with $50,000 in new money
- $1,500 bonus with $100,000 in new money
- $2,500 bonus with $200,000 in new money
You must then maintain the required daily balance during the maintenance period, which runs from day 31 through day 90 after account opening. If your balance drops below your selected tier, you may qualify for a lower bonus. If it drops below $5,000, you will no longer qualify for any bonus.
Once all requirements are completed, Bank of America says it will attempt to deposit the bonus within 60 days. Your account must remain open and in good standing through the date the bonus is paid.
Better $750 Offer for the $15,000 Tier
There’s also a separate Bank of America offer that gives you $750 instead of $700 for the exact same $15,000 deposit requirement.
That version offers:
- $400 bonus with $5,000
- $750 bonus with $15,000
It also requires the money to be deposited within 30 days and maintained during the same maintenance period. This offer is available through December 31, 2026.
So if you’re only planning to deposit $15,000, make sure to use the $750 offer instead of the $700 tier.
Are You Eligible?
Here are the eligibility details for this bonus:
- Offer available via small business bankers in-branch, or by phone.
- This offer is intended for new customers only; you are not eligible for this offer if you were an owner or signer on a Bank of America Business Advantage Banking account within the last twelve (12) months.
- Only one bonus per business customer, regardless of the number of businesses owned or operated by the customer.
Account Fees
Business Advantage Fundamentals Banking has no monthly fee for the first 12 months. After that, the monthly fee is $16 and can be waived by doing one of the following:
- Maintain a $5,000 combined average monthly balance in eligible linked business deposit accounts
- Make at least $500 in new net purchases with your Bank of America business debit card
- Be a Preferred Rewards for Business member
Business Advantage Relationship Banking has a $29.95 monthly fee, which can be waived with a $15,000 combined average monthly balance or Preferred Rewards for Business membership.
There’s no early-account-closing fee.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
This is a much better Bank of America business checking offer than the previous version, especially for anyone with a larger amount of cash available.
The $400 bonus with $5,000 is probably the best return percentage wise, while the $1,500 and $2,500 bonuses require much larger balances.
One important detail is the separate $750 offer. If you’re depositing $15,000, there’s no reason to take the $700 bonus from the main $2,500 offer the other Bank of America link gives you $750 for the same requirement.
As usual with these offers, it makes sense to make your full deposit as close to the end of the 30-day funding period as possible, while leaving enough time for the funds to clear.
