New Amex Everyday and Everyday Preferred Designs
🔃 Update 2: Maybe there’s no refresh coming after all. This is the message showing in Amex Everyday accounts:
Same Card, New Look: The design of your Card has been updated in your digital account. Nothing else about your Card has changed and you can continue to use the Card you have today.
🔃 Update: The Amex EveryDay® Preferred Credit Card also has a new design. We still don’t know for sure if any benefits are changing.
American Express has revealed that it plans to refresh more than 40 products globally this year. And one of those products could be the Amex EveryDay Credit Card.
This is a no-fee credit card that earns 2X at U.S. supermarkets, on up to $6,000 per year in purchases, then 1X. It also earns 1X points on all other purchases and a 20% bonus when you use your Card 20 or more times on purchases in a billing period. The card currently has a welcome bonus of 10,000 Membership Rewards points after you spend $2,000 within the first 6 months.
Now the Amex EveryDay Credit Card has a new design that is showing up in the app. The new card has a silver design and is made from reclaimed plastic. It replaces the previous clear design.
Currently no other changes are shown for the card as far as the bonus or benefits go, but they could be coming soon.
While this is not a very exciting product, it is one of the two no-fee credit cards that can keep your Membership Rewards active when you close those fancy Amex cards.
