Morgan Stanley Will Stop Offering New Access Investing Accounts
Update: Looks like Access Investing might gone already even though the announcement said it would be available for new customers until December 1st.
Morgan Stanley will stop accepting new applications for Access Investing accounts. The news was revealed today in emails sent out to customers.
Effective December 1, 2022, Access Investing® will no longer be offering the ability to open new accounts. This will have no impact to your existing account(s) and you may continue to fund your account(s). Rebalancing and ongoing maintenance of your account(s) will continue as well, and the ability to adjust your risk tolerance, time horizon and other goal parameters will remain available.
This is an account that makes you eligible for the Platinum Card from American Express exclusively for Morgan Stanley, which is yet another possibility to get a big welcome bonus. You can also waive the annual fee of $695 and get a free Platinum authorized user card.
