If you have a Robinhood account you probably are aware of the issues they had in the last two days. Their system was down and customers weren’t able to place orders, missing out on potential profits. Now Moomoo, a similar free trading app, has a promotion that is aimed at these issues and is looking to attract Robinhood customers. They are offering an extra bonus of $100, when you transfer stocks to Moomoo.

The two parts of this offer have been around for a while. But now new and existing customers can get another $100 in stocks when they transfer $3000 or more worth of stocks to Moomoo. This promotion is available only until March 10, 2020.

Moomoo is a free trading app lets you buy stocks, options, ADRs and ETFs with no commission fees. It also includes pre-market and post-market trading for free, and there is no minimum deposit requirement. If you don’t have an account, this is a good opportunity to earn two free stocks and $100 more if you have $3,000 worth of stocks to transfer to the platform. I have not used the app much myself. I use mostly Robinhood and WeBull, and also TradeStation which is not free.
