Marriott Extends Free Night Certificates Through January 2021
If you have Marriott Bonvoy credit cards, you can earn Free Night Certificates that are limited up to a certain hotel category. Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card comes with an anniversary free night award limited to hotel for 35,000 points or less. The Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant Credit Card also gives you an anniversary free night award for up to 50,000 points per night. These certificates have an expiration date, based on when they were issued.
Now Marriott is extending the expiration date due to the coronavirus pandemic. LoyaltyLobby reports that based on an email sent by Marriott, their certificates will be extended through January 31, 2021. The extensions should take place sometime in April.
Hilton has already extended free night certificates though the end of next summer, and IHG is extending them by six month if you call.
