Marriott Bonvoy’s Ambassador Program Coming Back Next Month
Marriott Bonvoy is bringing back the Ambassador program. Marriott purchased Starwood in 2016 and decided to keep the Ambassador program which provides specialized service for 100 Night Elites. But then in 2021 Marriott ended it, replacing personal Ambassadors with a general service that wasn’t quite as popular.
But now personal Ambassadors are coming back sometime in June 2023. There is no set date when that will happen, but once the service re-launches, Personal Ambassadors will begin reaching out to Ambassador Elite Members. So make sure to update your Member Preferences in the Marriott Bonvoy profile. After assignment, Personal Ambassadors will communicate their availability and working hours as part of their introduction. Until then, Ambassador Elite Members will continue to be assisted by Anytime Ambassadors.
Marriott Says that personal Ambassadors will assist with tailoring and personalizing Member experiences with Marriott Bonvoy and its portfolio of 30 hotel brands and over 8,000 properties worldwide. This includes helping Ambassador Elite Members to plan a trip, book or change a Reservation, book Hotel services and amenities, and/or assist with any Account or Stay related questions. Personal Ambassadors will also work with Hotels to facilitate any specific requests on the behalf of Members.
