Business Class-only Airline Adds New Routes from NYC to Europe
La Compagnie is a French boutique airline based at Orly Airport in Paris. It currently offers all-business class flights between France and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). La Compagnie resumed flying in June, after halting flights during he pandemic and the travel restrictions. But now that the US and Europe are opening up borders, the airline has just ramped up its fall schedule.
The airline is upgrading its route between Newark International Airport and Paris Orly Airport to daily service beginning next month, just in time for the new travel policy going into effect on November 8th for travelers coming to the United States.

On December 4, La Compagnie will debut its newest route, a twice-weekly flight between Newark and Tel Aviv. That flight will have a brief 90 minute stop in Paris. That route was announced this summer and was supposed to launch in July, but was pushed back due to pandemic-related delays.
Then in spring of 2022, the airline will add two additional routes. It will fly direct from Newark to Milan four times a week starting April 13, 2022, and add a second French city to its network. La Compagnie will have a seasonal route from Newark to Nice three times a week from May 7, 2022, and September 27, 2022.

La Compagnie flies Airbus A321neo planes configured with only 76 lie-flat seats in a two-two configuration. Passengers are treated to a seasonal French menu by chef Christophe LangrĂ©e. There’s a house Champagne, of course, as well as a selection of wines. Flights include free Wi-Fi and two checked bags for all travelers.

As you would expect, these flights are not cheap. Promotional prices for both the Paris and Tel Aviv fall routes will start at $2,000 round-trip, and you can book your tickets here.
