Receive $400 when you open one of the premium KeyBank checking account before 2/24/17 and make one direct deposit of $500 or more within 60 days after account opening. You need to open a qualifying checking account using offer code RETK0117 and a unique reservation code.

This is a targeted bonus that requires a reservation number. In the past it was possible to chat with the bank and get a reservation number but I don’t think that works anymore. I tried it last time this offer was around and I was unsuccessful, so I’m assuming it will be hard to get a reservation number, unless you received the offer directly. The offer is meant for those who receive a promotional offer mailed directly to their home. Let us know if you have better luck.

$400 for a checking account is close to as good as it gets. You should definitely go for this one if you’re in one of the eligible states and you haven’t had an account in the last 12 months and have a reservation number. For everyone else there’s occasionally some other bonuses of up to $300 bonus. I don’t think there’s a public on available right now. Just keep in mind that KeyBank is very Chex sensitive.
