Investors Bank has extended a $250 and $350 bonus for new checking accounts. The bonus is available in NJ and NY only and accounts can be opened online or in-branch.

The $250 bonus is $25 per month for 10 months. Here’s how to get this bonus:

Open a new YourStyle Checking Account
Get $25 per month for 10 months with
- An ACH deposit to your account of $500 or more during your statement cycle; OR
- 10 Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions during your statement cycle, using your YourStyle Visa Debit Card OR
- Make Mobile Check Deposit(s) totaling $500 or more during your monthly account cycle

The $350 bonus is $35 per month for 10 months. Here’s how to get this bonus:

Open a new YourStyle Plus Checking Account
Get $35 per month for 10 months with
- An ACH deposit to your account of $1,000 or more during your statement cycle; OR
- 15 Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions during your statement cycle, using your YourStyle Visa Debit Card

Reward payments will cease at the earlier of reaching $250/$350 total or 11 consecutive cycles from the date you opened your account.

Offer not available to any account owner with an existing personal checking account.

Must open in branch and branched are located only in NY and NJ.

Fees

YourStyle Checking Account has a $10 monthly fee. However, it can be waived with one of the following options:

Monthly average balance of at least $1,000 plus
- Direct deposit of $500 or more each statement cycle, OR
- 10 point-of-sale transactions with your Visa® Debit Card

YourStyle Checking Account has a $20 monthly fee. It can be waived with the follwoing:

Maintain $20,000 average Monthly Balance with YourStyle Plus Checking and a YourStyle® Plus Money Market account or High Yield Savings account plus
- Have a Direct Deposit(s)totaling $1,000 or more during your statement cycle OR
- Mobile Check Deposit(s) totaling $1,000 or more during your statement cycle OR
- Complete at least 15 Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions during your statement cycle OR
- Eligible Investors Financial customer. First Month after account opening the Service Fee is Waived.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This is a decent bonus but it will take 10 month for you to get the full $250 or $350. I’m not sure if ACHs will count as a direct deposit so to be safe you might want to just do the 10 debit transactions each month to get the $25. You can maybe test out one month with a ACH, since you can miss a month and still get the total $250 within 11 months.
