IHG Offering Big Bonuses for Stays to New Members
If you do not have a IHG account, then now it’s probably a good time to sign up. The hotel chain is offering new members an interesting type of signup bonus, which looks very similar to IHG’s Accelerate promo. It offers you bonuses for completing a numbers of stays, a number of nights etc, and also for completing all the bonuses. The total bonus can be as high as 30,000 points, as reported by TPG. Loyalty Lobby who first wrote about this, has a 15,000 points bonus.
I signed up a family member to test it out and didn’t receive an offer at all. So this will vary from one account to the other, but hopefully you do get a good offer that is worth pursuing. Even if you signed up recently, it’s worth taking a look at your account. I’m not sure what’s considered a “new member” exactly. But the tasks should be completed within 94 days in order to receive the bonus.

Offer Terms
- You must be a new IHG® Rewards Club member and must register your member number in advance to participate in the new member campaign/promotion (the “Promotion”).
- Members will be awarded bonus points listed for each individual Promotional offer (“Offer”) after completing the requirements of each individual Offer.
- Each Offer must be completed in the next 94 days (“Registration”).
