New Hyatt All-Inclusive Resort Coming to Cozumel in Early 2022

A new all-inclusive resort will soon open its doors in the Mexican Caribbean island of Cozumel. It will be part of Hyatt’s portfolio and the World of Hyatt program.

The new Dreams resort will be one of the first Apple Leisure Group (ALG) resorts to debut after Hyatt’s acquisition of the company this summer. ALG provides management services to the largest portfolio of luxury all-inclusive resorts in the Americas under the AMR Collection brand portfolio, including well-known brands Secrets Resorts & Spa, Dreams Resorts & Spas, Breathless Resorts & Spas and Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts as well as the fast-growing Alua Hotels & Resorts brand, which is expanding in European leisure destinations.

The new, all-inclusive Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort and Spa will be the brand’s first-ever resort in Cozumel. The resort will welcome guests in the first quarter of 2022. It will bring the total number of properties in the Dreams portfolio to 24. It follows two recent debuts in Puerto Morelos, and also on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort will have a total of 154 suites, including a number of junior suite with swim-up access and oceanfront views, CaribJournal reports. The property will have four bars and lounges, four a la carte dining concepts; pool and beach service, 24-hour room service and daily activities and entertainment.

Guests at Dreams Cozumel will also have access to the neighboring Sunscape Sabor Cozumel. Those over 18 will have access to the nearby Secrets Aura Cozumel adults-only resort as well.
