New Hilton Resort in Maldives Now Open for Bookings
Back in July of 2021, Hilton announced a new property in the Maldives which is a very popular destination. The 109 all-villa Hilton Maldives Amingiri was originally scheduled to open at the end of 2021, and then it was pushed back to September of 2022.
However, the opening date has now been moved up and you can start booking your stays as soon as July 1, 2022, as reported by Thrifty Traveler. You can pay in cash, or preferably with points and free night awards. At Hilton Maldives Amingiri even overwater villas are priced as base rooms. Even if you don’t find a overwater villa for your dates, you still get a beach from villa which still looks amazing from the renderings.
As for cost, your awards will set you back 110,000 points per night. If you’re staying 5 nights, it goes down to 88,000 points per night with the 5th night free. That’s almost a value of 1 cent per points when compared to cash prices. And as you know, that’s a pretty good value for Hilton Honors points.
Hilton Maldives Amingiri marks the entry of Hilton’s flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand into the Maldives. It will be the fourth resort under the company’s portfolio of brands in the Maldives, joining Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island and SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton.
