Hilton Extends Expiring Free Night Certificates
If you have expiring Hilton free night certificates, there’s good news. Yesterday Hilton sent out emails to let loyalty members know that they have more time to use their Free Weekend Night Reward. This extends Hilton free night certificates that were issued before May 1, 2020. “The Free Weekend Night Reward you earned as a Hilton Honors American Express Card Member, currently set to expire on August 31, 2021, will now be extended through January 3, 2022,” the email says.
Here are the expiration dates for your Hilton certificates, based on when they were issued, pus some more important details:
- Hilton Honors American Express Card Members with Free Weekend Night Reward certificates issued prior to Friday, May 1, 2020 which were set to expire Tuesday, August 31, 2021 have now been extended until Monday, January 3, 2022.
- Free Weekend Night Reward certificates issued from Friday, May 1, 2020 through Thursday, December 31, 2020 are valid for 24 months.
- Free Weekend Night Reward certificates issued between Friday, January 1, 2021 and Friday, December 31, 2021 will expire on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
- Free Weekend Night Reward certificates can continue to be used any night of the week.
- Hilton Honors extended members’ status through March 2022 and any Points set to expire in 2020 won’t expire until Dec. 31, 2021.
