Hilton Extends and Improves Daily Food & Beverage Credit

Hilton Honors has been focused on providing its loyal members with increased flexibility in recent months. Members have more time to enjoy their status, benefits and Points by issuing another round of program extensions. The space-available elite upgrade benefit was also enhanced as Hilton now notifies members 72-hours in advance of arrival that they’ve received a complimentary room upgrade.

Now Hilton has more news, regarding the daily food credit. In July 2021, Hilton Honors began offering its elite Gold and Diamond members a complimentary Daily Food & Beverage Credit at luxury, lifestyle, full-service and Hilton Garden Inn hotels in the U.S., ranging from $10 to $25 per member, or $20 to $50 for two registered guests, per night, depending on the brand and property location. This replaced free breakfast, which was more valuable at most high end properties.

Hilton Honors is extending this credit into 2022. And beginning on Feb. 1, 2022, Hilton will also make a small improvement. It will increase the credit amounts across its lifestyle and full-service brands from $12 to $15 per night, and $15 to $18 per night in select markets, to provide members even greater value. The select markets include the cities of Boston, Chicago, District of Columbia, Key Largo, Key West, New York City and San Francisco, the County of Los Angeles and the state of Hawaii.

You can use the credit towards eligible food and beverage purchases that are charged to your room—any time of day—at designated outlets throughout the property. Gold members can choose to receive the Daily Food & Beverage Credit or Bonus Points as part of their Hilton Honors MyWay benefits. Diamond members will receive both the Daily Food & Beverage Credit and 1,000 Bonus Points at all brands listed above except for Hilton Garden Inn, where Diamond members can choose between the credit or 750 Bonus Points. Visit your MyWay profile through your Hilton Honors account online or through the Hilton Honors app to select your preferences before your next stay.

The credit will be applied automatically to your bill for any eligible purchases charged to your room prior to checkout.
