Hilton Backtracks on Some Recent Devaluations
We have seen several devaluations in the Hilton Honors program over the last year, with the latest coming just over a month ago. Standard room pricing jumped to 250,00 points per night at some top properties, after increasing to 190,000 points just five months ago and to 120,000 back in December of 2024.
But now we have some good news. Hilton is backtracking on some devaluations by dropping the points pricing on several top properties. Some of those properties, which were first reported by Thrifty Traveler, include:
- Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills: from 200,000 to 120,000
- Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort: from 150,000 to 110,000 points per night
- Hermitage Bay, an SLH Hotel: from 250,000 to 230,000
- Conrad Orlando at Evermore: from 105,000 to 90,000
- Canaves Oia Suites, an SLH Hotel: from 240,000 to 175,000
This is rare good news from Hilton, but even with these lower prices, these properties are still way more expensive than a year ago or even a few months ago. The good thing for now is that you can still use your Free Night Reward as long as there is a Standard Room Reward available.
Let us know if you see any other properties that have become a bit more affordable in recent days!
