New United Club at Seattle Airport Gets Green Light

United Airlines is moving forward with a new United Club at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The Port of Seattle Commission has approved a $15.5 million tenant reimbursement agreement with United for construction of the new lounge in Concourse B. The project was formally considered as Item 10a during the Port Commission’s July 14 meeting.

The new United Club will be located in the former American Express Centurion Lounge space across from Gate B3, putting the lounge close to United’s operations after the airline moved its gates from Concourse A to Concourse B last year.

This won’t just be a renovation of the old Centurion Lounge. United plans a two-story buildout spanning 7,181 square feet, with a full-size kitchen, family rooms and views from both the concourse and mezzanine levels. The overall project is estimated at roughly $21 million, with United covering enhancements beyond the Port’s replacement obligations.

Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with the new United Club currently scheduled to enter service in the fourth quarter of 2027. United’s existing lounge near Gate A9 remains open in the meantime.
