Fast Track to Hyatt Globalist for AA Executive Platinum Elites

Fast Track to Hyatt Globalist for AA Executive Platinum Elites

World of Hyatt and American Airlines AAdvantage launched a partnership last year for elite members of both programs. This partnership provides some useful benefits and sometimes even gives you the opportunity to earn elite status the easy way. This latest offer is for select American Airlines Executive Platinum elites who are invited to enroll in a fast track status challenge for Hyatt. You can link your accounts here if you haven’t already done so.

Because you are an AAdvantage® elite member, you now have an exclusive opportunity to quickly earn elite status in World of Hyatt. Here’s how it works:

  • Register by October 2, 2020
  • After registering, stay ten qualifying nights at any Hyatt hotel within 90 days of registration and you’ll enjoy World of Hyatt status through February 2022
  • Remember, as an AAdvantage® elite member with linked accounts, you’re already earning 1 AAdvantage® bonus mile for every $1 you spend on Hyatt stays. That’s on top of the World of Hyatt points you already earn as a member
  • Choose from 1,000+ locations around the globe, including brands like Park Hyatt, Thompson Hotels, Andaz and Grand Hyatt

Upon registration, the Eligible Member will have 90 days (“Qualification Period”) to achieve Explorist status through February 28, 2022 by completing ten (10) Tier-Qualifying Nights (as defined in the World of Hyatt program terms) or achieve Globalist status through February 28, 2022 by completing twenty (20) Tier-Qualifying Nights.

Guru’s Wrap-up

Earning Globalist status normally requires 60 night, 100,000 points or 20 meetings/events. With this promotion, American Airlines Executive Platinum elites can get Globalist status with just 20 Tier-Qualifying Nights, which is much easier. The October 2 deadline though makes it impossible to take advantage of the double elite nights with the Bonus Journeys promo. But there are some other Hyatt promotions going on that can still be stacked.
