Delta and American Airlines Are Dumping Change Fees

Well, this is a good trend. United Airlines started it Sunday with its announcement that it would permanently get rid of change fees. Now its two major rivals, Delta Air Lines and American Airlines have followed suit, less than 24 hours later. Both announced Monday afternoon that they would permanently drop most change fees as well.

American Airlines AAdvantage Miles Expiration Has Resumed

American Airlines paused mileage expiration in March as the coronavirus pandemic was getting started in the United States. Most airlines did the same thing, as people were not able to travel. But now that grace period is over. Mileage expiration for AAdvantage members has resumed again, and miles will begin expiring after 18 months of inactivity.
