End of Month Checklist: Credit Card Perks and Benefits, Bank Bonuses, Offers and More
The month of August is almost over, so this is a good time to take a look at any credits and offers that you need to use or take advantage of before the month ends. There are several credit cards that offer monthly credits that expire if you don’t use use them.
Then there are spending bonuses, bank bonuses and other offers and promotion that might expire every month. So this is a good time to take a look at everything available to you and make sure that you don’t miss anything.
Hopefully this end of month checklist will help some you cash in on some last minute savings and deals!
Monthly Credits
- Platinum Card® from American Express
- $15 Uber Cash each month for Uber Eats orders or Uber rides in the U.S. ($35 in December).
- $20 entertainment credit for Audible, Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, Peacock, SiriusXM, and The New York Times. This can be an annual savings of up to $240. Enrollment required.
- $12.95 Walmart+ monthly membership credit.
- American Express® Gold Card
- $10 dining credit for Grubhub, The Cheesecake Factory, Goldbelly, Wine.com, Milk Bar, and select Shake Shack locations. This can be an annual savings of up to $120. Enrollment required.
- $10 Uber Cash each month for Uber Eats orders or Uber rides in the U.S.
- Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card
- $25 in monthly statement credits for eligible purchases at restaurants worldwide.
- Chase credit cards
- $10 statement credit each month for goPuff purchases
- Instacart monthly credits:
- Up to $15: Chase Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve Card, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire.
- Citi/AAdvantage Executive Mastercard
- $10 per monthly billing statement on Grubhub purchases, for a total of up to $120/year.
- After taking 3 Lyft rides in a calendar month, earn a $10 Lyft credit, for a total of up to $120/year.

- $100 Saks Fifth Avenue credit ($50 semi-annually)

- $400 Dell credit ($200 semi-annually)
- $200 Airline Incidental Credit every calendar year.
- Chase Instacart Credit
- Up to $10 per quarter: Chase Freedom Unlimited, Chase Freedom Flex, Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Student.
- Citi/AAdvantage Executive Mastercard
- $1 credit per $1 spent on Avis or Budget car rentals, up to $120 every calendar year.
Bank Bonuses
There are several Bank Bonuses that expire at the end of the month. Usually some of these bonuses just get extended again, but take a look and see if you are eligible for any of these bonuses and if it makes sense for you to apply.
