Emirates to Restrict First Class Awards To Skywards Elite Members
Emirates is making an important change to its popular First Class awards. Starting this Monday, First Class award tickets will only be available to Skywards elite members.
A notice on their website now states that:
So what can you do going forward? You can book before May 12, get an Emirates card so you can get status, or you should still be able to book a business class ticket and upgrade to first class (Emirates allows upgrades on cash or award bookings by one class only).
