Earn Miles from Major Airlines with $12 Wall Street Journal Subscription

Airline shopping portals are offering bonus miles for new subscriptions to The Wall Street Journal. You can earn as much as 2,200 from American Airlines, or go for a few less from United, Alaska, or Southwest. The way it works is that you go through one of the shopping portals and purchase a 12-week subscription to The Wall Street Journal for $12. I don’t think you can get a refund on the $12 that you pay if you cancel early. But that still could get you you miles for as cheap as 0.55 cents each.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

Not a huge amount of miles, but you can buy them for cheap, so why not. Even better if you’re interested in the Wall Street Journal 12-week subscription. American Airlines AAdvantage eShopping gives you more miles for $12, but I guess it’s best to go for the miles that you value most. There’s also an opportunity to earn Avios with a subscription to The Economist.
