Chase Freedom has rotating quarterly categories that earn 5% in select merchants. This quarter’s merchants are Amazon, Zappos, Audible, and diapers.com. From October to December, you earn 5% for purchases up to $1500.
But Chase has made this offer even better. During the promotional period of November 23 until December 31, 2015, you’ll earn an extra 5% cash back (for a total of 10%) on up to $1,500 in new combined purchases.
So you can earn 5% on $1500 until November 23, and then earn 10% on another $1500 until the end of the year. That’s $225 in cash back this quarter.
If you don’t have the Freedom card, then you can combine that with the current sign up bonus or $150.
