Disneyland Cancels Annual Passholder Program
Disney announced today that they will be cancelling the Disneyland Annual Passholder program for all existing and new pass holders effective immediately. Ten months after Disneyland closed its doors due to COIVD, Disney Parks has abruptly announced the end of the popular program, saying it will provide refunds to existing customers.
The Disneyland Resort President, Ken Potrock, shared that there would be a replacement “membership offering in the future” but no further details were shared in the announcement.
The Disneyland Resort theme parks have been closed since March. There are more than 1 million pass holders for Disneyland. Premier Passport, another type of annual pass that grants entry to parks on both coasts, is also cancelled. Outstanding Premier Passports will remain active through March 31, 2021, for still-open Walt Disney World theme parks and perks, after which they will be cancelled. All Annual Passes valid as of March 14, 2020 will be eligible for a pro rata refund for the unused Disneyland portion of their pass
Passholders can check their refund amount by logging in at Disneyland.com/PassportRefund.
