Discover Bank has a bonus for new AAA Savings Accounts. This is similar to the offer that they have for their own savings account, but it gives you a chance to get the bonus once again.
Offer Requirements
To get your $150 or $200 Bonus offer:
- Apply for your first AAA Online Savings Account from Discover Bank by 10/31/17. Enter Offer Code AAABONUS when applying.
- Deposit a total of at least $15,000 into your account by 11/15/17 to earn a $150 Bonus or
- Deposit a total of at least $20,000 into your account by 11/15/17 to earn a $200 Bonus.
Bonus will be credited to the account by 11/30/17. Bonus is considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT. Offer may be modified/withdrawn without notice.

Guru’s Wrap-Up
This is a good bonus, much better than the previous one of $100. But it does require a large amount of money to be deposited in the account. It doesn’t have to be a direct deposit, and it doesn’t have to be deposited in one lump sum of $15K or $20K, which is good. If you have the $20K, then just do an ACH and then take the money out (it does earn 1.20%APY). That should be enough to trigger the bonus.
You should also qualify for this bonus even if you’ve received the same bonus previously for the Discover Online Savings account, which had similar requirements.
