Community First Credit Union in Florida is offering a $175, plus $25 for referring friends and family. The offer is limited to some counties in the state.

Offer

A $25 minimum deposit is required to open a new Community First checking account. New members must open a share account with a minimum $5 initial deposit (share account is required for membership). Must open a new Bonus Debit or Advantage Checking account to receive any incentive listed here. When applying online use code CHK2021. Must mention this offer at time of account opening. Here’s how the bonus works:

Receive $25 upon account opening for opening a checking account and enrolling in the Save My Change Program
Receive $150 for establishing a cumulative direct Deposit of at least $1,000 within first 90 days of account opening ($150 bonus will be deposited into a new checking account within 7 days of meeting above requirements)

You can also earn a bonus when you refer friends:

$25 for every friend you refer that opens a Bonus Debit or Advantage checking account (limited to 5 referrals annually). Credit provided when your friend opens a checking account and mentions you as the referrer. Credit and other restrictions apply. Consult a tax advisor for tax consequences.

Eligibility

Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Baker, Brevard, Broward, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Martin, Nassau, Orange, Palm Beach, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, or Volusia counties in Florida.

Membership is also open to any relative of an existing or eligible Community First Credit Union of Florida member. We also offer membership to Select Employer Groups, including all employees of Brooks Rehabilitation and Web.com.

Offer excludes existing Community First members with a checking account.

Fees

No monthly fees or minimum balance requirements.

Must keep account open for 6 months to avoid a $10 early termination fee.
