There’s been a few great deals for travel to China recently, but most of the ones I’ve posted in the last few weeks have been for Economy class. If you can deal with such a long flight in Economy, then you sure can get some great prices, but some people probably prefer to pay a bit more for some more comfort. Delta is offering just that. They have some great prices for Premium Economy flights to China from Los Angeles, Orlando, Detroit and Las Vegas. Prices start at about $720 round trip. There’s availability from October to December of this year.
How to Book
You can start your search at Google Flights or directly at Skyscanner to find the fares that fit your schedule and price range. Then you can book directly on the Delta website or OTAs, spending on which one gives you the better price. Booking direct could be better as some cards will get you more rewards.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
Not as cheap as these sub $300 fares I posted recently, but these seats are in Premium Economy, which will offer you some extra comfort. I usually don’t mind Economy much myself, but a 14 hour flight is no joke.
Don’t forget to use Amex Platinum (5x on airfare) or Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on travel), Citi Prestige (3x on airfare) or one of the other best cards for travel purchases. You can also use travel credit from your Citi Prestige or the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
