American Airlines has some great prices for travel from the East Coast to Hawaii. The cheapest fares are from New York and Washington DC, but there could be some other cities as well. Prices start at just $285 for a round trip ticket. It;s not the most comfortable flight, with two stops and Basic Economy. But it is pretty cheap. I see prices from $409 in main cabin.
There’s availability from October 2018 until April 2019.
Keep in mind these restrictions for Basic Economy:
- Seats assigned at check-in
- Not eligible for upgrades
- No flight changes or refunds
- Board in last group
