Chase Matching New Ink Referral Offers, Get Up to 130K Bonus
As you’re well aware by now, Chase has two big bonuses for Ink cards. You can earn 90,000 Ultimate Rewards points when you apply and are approved for Ink Business Cash or Ink Business Unlimited. These offers are ending on March 21st, so if you are eligible, now it’s the best time to apply and get the highest ever bonus.
But while these offers are the best ever, there’s a way to get even more points. Chase recently improved referral bonuses, increasing them from 20,000 points per referral, to 40,000 points. However, when applying through these new referral links, the signup bonus is only 75,000 points.
Is it possible to combine a 90,000 points signup bonus and a 40,000 referral bonus for a total of 130,000 points? Apparently yes. There are data points at FM that show that Chase is in fact matching 75K bonuses to 90K. You just need to reach out by phone or secure message.
How it Works
If all that sounds a little confusing, here’s how it works if you’re in 2-player mode:
- Player 1 (P1) needs to have a Chase Ink Business card.
- P1 generates referral link here.
- P2 applies through referral and earns 75K signup bonus. P1 gets 40K referral bonus.
- P2 contacts Chase by phone or secure message to get matched to current best offer of 90K points (must do this before 3/21).
I prefer doing this online through secure message. You don’t have to talk to an agent and you have something in writing. To see your secure messages, just sign in to chase.com. From your accounts page, go to the side menu (the three-line icon in the top left corner) and choose “Secure messages.” All you need to do to send a message is choose “New message.”
Remember that it’s not guaranteed that you will be matched from 75K to 90K. So don’t apply from random referrals on the internet for the 75K bonus. If you don’t have anyone that can refer you, then make sure you apply for a 90K bonus.
But if the person referring you is a family member or a friend, then it’s a win-win situation. Even if you you don’t get matched to the higher offer, you still get a total of 115,000 Ultimate Rewards points (75K SUB + 40K referral).

Guru’s Wrap-up
This is the best time to apply for the Chase Ink Business Cash and Ink Business Unlimited credit cards. These 90,000 points offers are the best we have seen and they are available through referrals as well. If you get matched, you can earn up to 130,000 Ultimate Rewards points in 2-player mode with just one card.
Just keep in mind that these cards fall under the Chase 5/24 rule, although they don’t count towards 5/24 since they are business cards. There are some recent data points of people getting approved even at 5/25 or higher, myself included.
Let me know in the comments if Chase matches you to the better bonus, or if you get approved at or above 5/24.

Matched P2 with secure message. No need to call.
Called to match the bonus points. The rep immidiately grilled me about the type of business. took me by surprise, i got the impression that he is sick of all the calls of people calling about new ink card approval and offer match. After I told him about online business like ebay paypal, the rep asked me for ebay account detail to look up and told me you have very little to no transaction in the last 2 years and such is not a legit business and told me you will be mailed a letter soon and hung up. 2 hours later I found out that both the new and previous ink card are closed and my personal cards are closed as well. disaster! just redeemed all the points I have . terrible day!
wow that’s the first time I ever hear of a chase rep asking for username for ebay or other online seller business.
Matched by phone. Easy 15K extra 😁
Told me there is nothing to match as there is nothing on the card and spend req not met . Three months from today the public 90K will be gone . I am content with the 75K offer . By the way there are reports of chase shutdown down cards of new applicants who reapply for same cards. Those approved get their cards shut down by the credit card risk review department for potential points abuse and applying for cards just for bonus points . Asked to read the 7 page terms . Don’t reapply.
You should call again. Chase has matched in the past and is matching now before spend is completed.
As for shutdowns, I don’t know the specifics of those cases but applying for multiple Inks is very common. You have link to shutdown reports?
Thank you for this information. I was going to apply for 90K offer because I still have old referral from P2 and since referral is taxed works better for me. But I will give this a try and hopefully Chase matches.
Is it possible to still generate the 90K/20K referral somehow? Or is 75K/40K the only option now?
Check emails from February. Chase sent out an email reminding Ink cardholders that they can refer friends and earn up to 100,000. That email should have the old referral link.
Approved and contacted chase but told me you have to finish the $6K spend first and if the public offer is still alive they can try to match but no such thing as a a matching until you meet the requirement
I’m not sure what they told you exactly, but they mean that they agreed to match you to 90K and they will give you the extra 15K after you complete spend req.
Was told same thing today, Sunday. Plan to call again on Monday to get different agent.
