Chase Ink Referral Bonuses Double to 40K Per Approval
Chase has increased referral bonuses on its business credit cards, doubling the payout from 20,000 points per approval to 40,000 points per approval for eligible cardholders.
The new offer is valid through December 31, 2026, and increases the maximum annual referral limit from 100,000 bonus points to 200,000 bonus points.
Under the new structure, eligible cardholders can earn:
- 40,000 bonus points for each approved referral
- Up to 5 approved referrals
- Maximum of 200,000 bonus points per calendar year
The increased referral offer appears on the Chase Refer-A-Business pages for:
- Ink Business Preferred
- Ink Business Cash
- Ink Business Unlimited
- Ink Business Premier
- Sapphire Reserve for Business
The elevated referral bonus applies when referred applicants are approved for any participating Chase business card. One important detail in the terms is that referred applicants must be new Chase business card customers. Chase states:
“Business owners must be new Chase for Business card customers. Referrals of individuals with existing Chase for business card accounts will not qualify for the referral bonus.”
So while someone may still be approved for a card, the referrer may not receive the referral bonus if the applicant already has a Chase business card account.
