Applying for the Card

This product is not available to either current cardmembers of this credit card, or previous cardmembers of this credit card who received a new cardmember bonus for this credit card within the last 24 months. This is a new product, so it shouldn’t be an issue for now. You can apply even if you have the old IHG card.

Chase IHG Premier card does not not fall under the Chase 5/24 rule, so most people should be eligible.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

The new bonus is 20,000 points more than the bonus we saw when the card was released. This is probably as good as it gets. If you already applied for the 80K bonus, is worth sending Chase a secure message and ask to get matched to this higher bonus.
