Earlier this week, the carrier announced it is deploying a new technology tool that it calls “ConnectionSaver,” which will help reduce the number of missed connections by automatically holding certain flights until connecting passengers arrive.

The plane was flying from Hawaii to Majuro, the capital of the Marshall Islands. But, it was forced to turn back to Honolulu on Sunday, soon after taking off from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Starting November 15, 2019, United Airlines is getting rid of its award chart and moving to a dynamic pricing model. The carrier is switching to a system that prices award seats based on demand and cash price, rather than specific tiers.

Three families, who were traveling internationally, stated that they had ‘paid for’ first class tickets, but they were on non-revenue reservations and were unable to provide the names of the employees who had provided the tickets.
